The Mississippi Census, Amendment 3, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 7, 1978, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Section 105. The amendment proposed to repeal the requirement that the state perform a census every 10 years.[1]
