Mississippi Corporate Charter Records, Amendment 10 (1987)

The Mississippi Corporate Charter Records, also known as Amendment 10, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 3, 1987, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended via Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 551. The amendment proposed to repeal: Section 189, which required that every corporate charter granted to a private corporation shall be recorded with the chancery’s office of the county in which the entity is located.[1]
