The Mississippi Crime Victim Rights Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was a legislatively referred constitutional amendment which was on the November 3, 1998 ballot in Mississippi, where it was approved.
The measure called for amending the constitution to establish crime victim rights.

Text of measure
The language that appeared on the ballot:
- This amendment gives victims of crimes the right to be informed, to be present and to be heard during the criminal process of the person accused of the crime, when authorized by law.[1]
