The Mississippi Dueling, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 7, 1978, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Section 19. The amendment proposed to repeal the prohibition on dueling.[1]
