The Mississippi Federal Directives initiative did not appear on the November 2011 ballot in the state of Mississippi as an indirect initiated constitutional amendment. The measure would have amended the Mississippi Constitution to state that residents should not be bound to follow any law from the U.S. Government that violated the U.S. Constitution.[1]
