The Mississippi Grand Jury, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Section 264. The amendment proposed that a grand jury remain empaneled between terms of the Circuit Court.[1]
