The Mississippi La Bauve Fund, Amendment 4, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 3, 1987, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended via House Concurrent Resolution No. 19. The amendment proposed to allow the legislature to appoint a trustee to the La Bauve Fund from the board of trustees of the state institutions of higher learning for the perpetuation of the fund.[1]
