The Mississippi Lottery, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 3, 1992, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Section 98. The amendment proposed to repeal the section pertaining to the prohibition of lotteries, sales of lottery tickets and lottery advertisements.[1]
