The Mississippi Redistricting, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended. The amendment proposed that the each county would divided into more than five districts and eliminate the requirement that a member of the board of supervisors would need to be a resident freeholder in the district for which they are chosen.[1]
