The Mississippi Segregation, Amendment 4, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 7, 1978, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Section 207. The amendment proposed to repeal the requirement that schools be racially separate.[1]
