The Mississippi Term Limits Amendment did not appear on the 2011 ballot in the state of Mississippi as an initiated constitutional amendment. The measure was proposed to limit appointed and elected state and local officials, United States Representatives, and United States Senators to two successive terms. The initiative was sponsored by Dr. Godfrey Garner. According to the Mississippi Secretary of State's website, the initiative's status is expired.[1]
