The Mississippi Treasury, Amendment 7, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended via Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 562. The amendment proposed to repeal Section 137, requiring the governor and the state treasurer to publish and to verify the balance of the state treasury.[1]
