The Missouri "Net Metering and Easy Connection Act" did not make the November 8, 2016, ballot in Missouri as an initiated state statute.
The measure would have required municipal electric utilities and electrical corporations to make net metering available to more customers and increase the amount of net metering capacity available to customers.[1] There were numerous versions of this initiative.
