In 1988, voters decided on eight statewide ballot measures in Missouri. On March 8, voters decided on one measure. On August 2, voters decided on three measures. On November 8, voters decided on four measures.

• Two of the measures were initiated constitutional amendment.
• Six of the measures were legislatively referred constitutional amendments.
• Voters approved six (75%) and rejected two (25%) measures.
