Missouri Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline

The Missouri Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline of Judges is a judicial disciplinary agency in Missouri.[1]

Note: State judicial disciplinary agencies do not have appellate jurisdiction or authority over federal court judges and justices.

Organization

The commission is made up of six members: two judges, two lawyers and two members of the public. One judge is elected by the court of appeals and one by the circuit courts, the lawyers are chosen by the board of governors of the Missouri Bar, and the members of the public are appointed by the governor.[2]
