The Missouri Elections for Statewide Officials Amendment did not appear on the ballot in Missouri as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 5, 2024.
The amendment would have provided for the election of governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, treasurer, attorney general and auditor by the General Assembly, and provide for the General Assembly to vote for the officials using ranked choice voting if more than two candidates are nominated for an office.[1]
