The Missouri General Assembly Amendment did not appear on the ballot in Missouri as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 5, 2024.
The measure would have amended the Missouri Constitution to make changes to the state legislature, including reducing the number of members of the general assembly to 100 by 2027; allowing members of the general assembly to acquire proxies from eligible Missouri voters to vote; and allowing a simple majority of votes instead of two-thirds to override a gubernatorial veto.[1]
