The Missouri Initiative Petition Deadline Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 3, 1998 ballot in Missouri as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure changed the deadline for submitting initiative petitions from four months prior to the election to six months.[1][2]
