The Legislature Age Eligibility Amendment did not make the November 8, 2016 ballot in Missouri as an initiated constitutional amendment. The measure, upon voter approval, would have amended the state constitution to lower the minimum eligibility requirement from 24 to 21 for members of the Missouri house of representatives and from 30 to 27 for members of the Missouri senate.[1]
