The Missouri Proportional Representation in U.S. House Initiative was not on the ballot in Missouri as an initiated state statute on November 6, 2018.
The measure would have created a system of proportional representation for electing members of the United States House of Representatives. The measure would have created one at-large congressional district from which all of the state's representatives in the U.S. House would be elected. Voters would have voted for a political party's ordered list of candidates, rather than for one candidate, and the number of officials elected off the list would have reflected the proportion of votes the list received.[1]
