The Missouri State Tax Repeal Proposal did not appear on the November 2012 ballot in the state of Missouri.

The ballot measure, proposed by St. Louis resident Richard La Violette, called for a repeal on state taxes in personal property, including cars and boats. According to La Violette, his early start on the initiative would have allowed him ample time to gather professional signature gatherers and accumulate sufficient support. La Violette said he believed the government can find other means to support their budgets other than property taxes.[1]
