Mitch Gillespie
Mitch Gillespie (b. August 19, 1959) is a former Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 85 from 1999 to January 2013. He resigned to take a job with the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

2012
Gillespie ran for re-election in 2012. He ran unopposed in the May 8, 2012, Republican primary. He defeated JR Edwards (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
2010
On November 2, 2010, Gillespie won election to the North Carolina House of Representatives. Mary Ostgaard (D) defeated Aaron Scott in the primary faced Gillespie in the general election.[3][4]
