Mitch Holmes is a former Republican member of the Kansas State Senate, representing District 33 from 2013 to 2017. Holmes served in the Kansas House of Representatives from 2005 to 2013.

Holmes did not seek re-election to the Kansas State Senate in 2016.

Holmes earned his B.S. in Human Resource Management from Friends University. His professional experience includes working as a computer programmer and analyst.[1]

Holmes won election in the 2012 election for Kansas State Senate District 33. Holmes defeated Ruth Teichman in the August 7 Republican primary and was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8]

Holmes won re-election to the 114th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He ran unopposed in the August 3 Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election, which took place on November 2, 2010.[9]
