Mitch Taylor was a candidate for District 3 representative on the Battle Ground School District school board in Washington. Taylor was defeated in the by-district general election on November 7, 2017.

Biography

Taylor's professional experience includes working as the director of client care for an international software company, in IT for a collection agency, and as a debt collector. His volunteer experience includes serving as a youth group leader, a sports coach, and community education instructor. Taylor attended Brigham Young University and graduated from Poudre High School in Colorado.[1]

Three of the five seats on the Battle Ground School District school board in Washington were up for by-district general election on November 7, 2017. District 1 board member Monty Anderson filed for re-election and ran unopposed, winning a new term. In District 3, Troy McCoy defeated Mitch Taylor for the open seat. The open District 5 saw one candidate file for it; Tina Lambert ran unopposed and won.[2]

As a BG citizen, parent, grandparent, volunteer and businessman; I'm committed to making the best possible decisions for BGSD's children in regards to their education and safety.
