Mitchell E. Turner

Mitchell E. Turner is a Senior Judge of the Sixth District of Iowa. He was appointed to the court in 2005.[1] Turner was re-elected in 2018.[2] He assumed senior status in 2021.[3]
Education
Turner received his bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in 1976 and his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1979.[1]
Career
After graduating from law school, Turner worked as a private practice lawyer for 26 years until his judicial appointment in 2005.[1]
2012 election
Turner was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 79.71% of the vote.[4][5]
