I represent the best of everyone for our county. I work as a construction field engineering technician for a national civil engineering firm. What makes me qualified for the position of District Supervisor is my love of the environment that includes our soil, water and the wildlife habitat. I understand the concerns regarding the issues of water and soil erosion and how it effects everyone from our water sources, to pollution and so much more. I want to address these issues and more of your concerns. Did you know that the Soil and Water Conservation District has a budget for program for Community Conservation Assistance and the Conservation Reserve Enhancement program. There are many more projects and programs for agriculture, natural resources, farmland, wildlife and wetlands restoration. When I get your vote I will look to promote all these programs and more to make our communities more vibrant.
  • Promote existing programs in the water & soil conservation district. A example is community conservation assistance program and conservation reserve enhancement program.
  • A key project that I will propose is to encourage builders to move to impervious surfaces.
  • Reach out to the community and farmers to educate them on programs designed to protect and restore the environment.
The public policy that I would pursue is the environmental leadership action plan. The action plan focuses on pollution reduction which includes organic, soil and water. The other focus is resource conservation that includes our water, electricity and wildlife. The next action plan is the climate preparedness.
I have the drive to succeed in assisting the communities to make our county better for the next generation.
The first historical event that effected me was the Gulf War when I went into the Army after college. I have a long history of previous family member in the military and I had the opportunity to be apart of a family tradition. The next event was when I was still in the military, the National Guard. It was 9/11/2001 and I was in New Jersey, only 10 miles from Manhattan New York City, NY. I was at a conference and my wife and young son was in Pittsburgh, PA. That was a scary event for me and our whole country.
That is easy, Spiderman! I have been called "Spidy" in college for scaling dorm building for when people were locked out.
All government Financials should always be available to the public.
