(pronounced: mahogany magnetic). In addition to being a Wonder Woman; I am a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, Historical Archaeologist, Human Right Activist and published writer with experience and degrees in Anthropology, English, Forensic Investigation and currently in my final year of my MFA in Creative Writing & Literary Arts Program at UAA. I am a businesswoman in Graphic/Web Design, Event Promoter and Performance Art since 1997. I aspire to be elected because Anchorage needs a nonpartisan, ("conservative" nor "progressive") assembly member. I bring joy, ingenuity, wisdom, compassion and invite everyone the freedom to speak by creating safe spaces for all.
  • Compassion. Stop stigmatizing homeless members of our community. No thanks to COVID-19, it is likely that many people that looked down on the underprivileged a month ago will find themselves broke and homeless after this crisis is over.
  • Public Safety/Reducing Stigma
  • Governmental Transparency
The Magnetek Campaign Platform: Public Safety/Reducing Stigma, Governmental Transparency and Compassion for All. We reduce stigma by encouraging acceptance of others without judgments, which decreases fear and anxiety in our community to make everyone in public feel safer. Many if not most Anchorage residents have little to no idea about how the city assembly works. There is great divide between the people and our local government. Bringing all people together is one of my many strengths. When I speak of compassion for all, I am talking about a little love is all it takes to create a more enjoyable place to live for all of us. Essentially, the more we empathize with others in our district and city. the less societal issues such as crime, cultural indifference and public shamming we will have.
