Biography
Ivory earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Spelman College. She later received her J.D. from Temple University. Ivory is an adjunct professor of media law from Howard University. She has also hosted radio shows on Atlanta radio stations.[1]

The city of Atlanta, Georgia, held a general election for mayor, city council president, three at large council members, 13 by district council members, and two city judges on November 7, 2017.[2] Incumbent Carla Smith defeated Mo Ivory, Bill Powell, Oz Hill, and Ron Aribo in the general election for the District 1 seat on the city council.[3]
