Mobile App for Kansas Courts Wins Award

Kansas: The state of Kansas recently received a Digital Government Achievement Award from e.Republic's Center for Digital Government. According to Ted Sander, executive director of the Center for Digital Government, “. . .(G)overnments are finding innovative ways of utilizing new technologies to transform operations and engage with citizens.”[1]

The new mobile app allows users to access court records and information via their smart phone or tablet. Users can gain instant access to court records for any Kansas county district court via the app. Information can be searched by county, court type or case number. Access to the new service is availabile at: www.kansas.gov/countyCourts/.
