Moe Rivera
Moe Rivera was a 2015 nonpartisan candidate for At-large Position 2 of the Houston City Council in Texas. Moe Rivera lost the general election on November 3, 2015.
Biography
Rivera received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico in 1979 and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, N.W. Houston Campus. He is a retired Army lieutenant colonel. His professional experience includes working as an accountant supervisor with the Houston Airport System.[1][2]

The city of Houston, Texas, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was August 24, 2015.[3] In the race for At-Large Position 2, Willie R. Davis and incumbent David W. Robinson defeated Andrew Burks Jr., Eric Dick and Moe Rivera in the general election. Robinson defeated Davis in a runoff election on December 12, 2015.[4][5]
