Mona Majzoub
Mona K. Majzoub was a federal magistrate judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She served from 2004 to 2020.[1] She retired from the court to open a mediation practice.[2]
Education
Judge Majzoub attended the University of Michigan, where she studied English Literature. She earned her B.A. degree in 1970 and her M.A. degree in 1972. While pursuing her M.A. degree, she also took courses at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. She received her J.D. degree from the University of Detroit in 1976.[1][3]
Career
Judge Majzoub worked for Michigan Legal Services during law school. She began her career in 1977 working for the Kitch law firm in Detroit, where she later became a partner. She worked with this firm for 27 years.[1][3][4]
