Monica Alonzo
Monica Alonzo was a member of the Dallas City Council in Texas, representing District 6. She assumed office in 2011. She left office in 2017.
Alonzo ran for election to the Dallas City Council to represent District 6 in Texas. She lost in the general election on May 3, 2025.
Alonzo lost a re-election campaign in the runoff election on June 10, 2017. Alonzo was the deputy mayor pro tem from 2013 to 2015, and served as mayor pro tem from 2015 to 2017.

All 14 city council seats were up for election.[3][4] In District 6, incumbent Monica Alonzo defeated Daniel Caldwell, I, Ozumba Lnuk-X and Lakolya London.[5][6]
