Diaz won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Fresno County in California outright in the primary on March 3, 2020, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Biography

Diaz received a bachelor's degree from California State University, Fresno and a J.D. from the San Joaquin College of Law. She was a chief deputy district attorney in Fresno County from 2015 until her judicial appointment in 2017. She was a deputy district attorney from 2000 to 2015 and was a public defender from 1999 to 2000. In 1999, she worked as an associate at John A. Barker and Associates.[1]
