Biography

Education

Gordo received a B.B.A. degree from the University of Miami and a J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in August of 1999.[1]

Career

Gordo was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Criminal Division, in Florida from 2011 to 2019. She was elected to this position on August 24, 2010, and was officially sworn in on Jan. 14, 2011. Gordo won re-election without opposition in 2016.[2][3][4][5]

Gordo joined the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office as an assistant state attorney in 1999. At the time of her election to the 11th circuit court in 2010, she was a special prosecutor in the Gang Strike Force of that office.[1][6]
