I am a Eastern Kentucky native and has lived in Fayette County for over 20 years. I have dedicated her life to public service, education, and improving the well-being of those in her community and across Kentucky.

I current have one students in Fayette County Public Schools and one entering in 2025. I have been a active participant in the schools serving as Advocacy Chair for our school parent group for two years, as well as serving on multiple school board committees.

Currently I am a Assistant Professor at a local University. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Ph.D. in Education and from Eastern Kentucky University with a Master's in Public Health.
  • Promote a school culture where voices are heard and valued in driving student success.
  • Ensure health and safety by continued investment in social-emotional learning resources, holistic student support services, and maintaining and renovate existing facilities.
  • Providing fiscal responsibility through a district-wide curriculum inclusive of STEM, language, arts, & music, prioritizing the needs of students, teachers, & staff In the classroom and ensuring accessibility to the school system’s budget and fiscal policies.
I am passionate about ensuring clear communication and active listening with parents, teachers, and community members, as these are crucial for building trust and making informed decisions. I am dedicated to ensuring educational inclusion for ALL sudents, integrating mental health services into schools, and fostering transparency and accountability in decision-making. I believe in supporting the arts, as they enrich students' educational experiences, and advocating for teachers and all staff members by ensuring fair compensation and beneficial professional development opportunities. By addressing these areas, we can create a supportive and effective educational environment for all students.
