I’ve also worked elections and recruited election workers, giving me firsthand experience with how Michigan’s election system operates at the ground level. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for the dedication of local clerks and election workers, as well as a clear understanding of where the system can be strengthened.
I believe Michigan deserves elections that are secure, transparent, and worthy of the public’s confidence. My goal is to work collaboratively with clerks across the state, apply practical management experience, and restore trust in the integrity of our election process.
Above all, I’m a proud Michigander who believes in public service, the rule of law, and protecting the voice of every lawful voter.- Service to Michigan Voters, Not Politics. The Secretary of State’s office should serve the people of Michigan — not political agendas. My focus will be fair administration, professionalism, and protecting the rights of every lawful voter while ensuring the system operates with transparency and accountability.
- Competent Leadership and Real Management Experience. Running statewide election administration requires strong management, organization, and accountability. As a business owner, I understand compliance, operations, and how to build reliable systems that work. That real-world experience translates directly to overseeing elections effectively.
- Restore Trust in Michigan’s Elections. Michigan voters deserve elections that are secure, transparent, and administered with integrity. I will work closely with local clerks, strengthen procedures, and ensure our election systems earn the confidence of every voter.
I also believe strongly in accountability in government. State offices should operate with clear rules, transparency, and respect for taxpayers.
