Monique Centeno
Monique Centeno was a judge for Division 11 of the Kansas Eighteenth Judicial District. She assumed office in 2019. She left office on January 11, 2021.
Centeno (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Division 11 judge of the Kansas Eighteenth Judicial District. She lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Gov. Laura Kelly (D) appointed her on August 26, 2019, to succeed former Judge James Fleetwood.[1]
Biography
At the time of her appointment, Centeno was a trial attorney at the Wall Huntington Law Firm. Her professional experience also includes working as Assistant Public Defender in the Sedgwick County Public Defender’s office.[1]
