Having more family events in MOT community to create a since of ownership of family. Jobs Create more jobs, by encouraging/motivating entrepreneurship. Monique will help create more for training sites that will assist entrepreneurs in developing a mindset of ownership. Also, provide free seminars to assist those who may not have the means to get an education or a specific trade. By partnering with banks in MOT area, this will help more entrepreneurs to receive financing. Monique, plans are to encourage our community to support more MOT small businesses. She also believes that franchise businesses migrating to the area will develop and help fuel the economy regardless of age or nationality. Farm Preservation We need to ensure that farmers have the ability to pass on the family farming tradition to future generations. Agriculture is a building block for a strong economy Education A successful Delaware begins with educating our children at a higher level. Building an Educational system that prepares our children for life skills. Monique believes by providing a leadership curriculum in our Middle and High Schools would be our First step. Electives such as: Confidence 101, career coaching, and strategic planning courses. As a mother of a 1st year college student I realized that our children need more to perform at a higher level. These courses will improve our academic scores and give our children another aspect of Education to guarantee their success.[1] |
