Biography
Monique Miller was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She earned a bachelor's degree from Loyola University, New Orleans, and a graduate degree from Emory University in 2005.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 20, 2014. Incumbent Thad Altman defeated Monique Miller in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election. Lloyd Stanton French (I) withdrew from the race in early September.[6][7][8]
