I am a proud native New Yorker and has called Georgia home for the past for 30 years. My background is in criminal justice, and I have always been guided by a strong sense of fairness, and equity - principles that shape every decision I make as a commissioner. I believe leadership is about service, and my commitment to my community has been the driving force behind everything I do.

Over the years, I have taken on leadership roles that allowed me to advocate for my neighbors and work toward meaningful change. I have served as president of multiple homeowner's associations where I helped navigate challenges, mediate disputes, and push for policies that benefited homeowners. Before being elected to office, I was honored to serve on the Cobb County Board of Zoning Appeals.

Beyond titles and positions, I have always been someone who rolls up my sleeves and gets to work. I believe real change happens when leaders are willing to do the hard work alongside the people they serve. My dedication to public service is not just about policies-it's about people.
  • I am a proven leader with experience! As an incumbent county commissioner, I have a track record of delivering results for our community. My leadership has brought real investments in healthcare, workforce development, public transit to South Cobb, and retail and economic development.
  • I am a leader who shows up and gets things done! I don't just talk about change - I roll up my sleeves and work alongside the community to make it happen. Whether securing funding for critical projects, advocating for fair policies, or investing in programs that uplift residents, I have a proved record of action. I am committed to being accessible, transparent, and accountable to the people I serve.
  • Empowering our community for a better future. My second-term vision is about empowering our community through expanded healthcare, green spaces, and economic development. I am leading initiatives to focus on health and wellness to improve health outcomes and voter engagement in underserved communities.
Health and wellness equity.

Community empowerment/economic development.

Smart development and infrastructure.
At my core, I am a true public servant - someone who leads with a heart for service and a deep commitment to putting my constituents first. My leadership is rooted in authenticity, approachability, and accessibility, which have helped me build strong, trusting relationships with the community.

I believe that effective leadership requires listening as much as leading. I make it a priority to be present, engaged and responsive to the needs of the people I serve. Whether it's advocating for critical resources, addressing neighborhood concerns, or championing policies that improve quality of life, I work hard to ensure that every resident feels heard, valued, and represented.

Beyond my passion for service, I bring experience, problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset to this role. I take on hands-on approach to leadership- rolling up my sleeves, tackling challenges head-on, and working collaboratively to deliver real solutions. My ability to build partnerships, navigate complex issues, and remain accountable to my community ensures that I lead with integrity, transparence, and a commitment to progress.

Ultimately, my success as an officeholder comes from my unwavering dedication to the people-not just in words, but in action. I don't just serve; I show up, I listen, and I get things done.
I am working towards a legacy to be one of empowerment, equity, and lasting impact, where the residents of my district are healthier, stronger, and more politically engaged. My vision has always been about more than policies, it's about people.

A key part of my legacy will be The Healthy Future Initiative, which lays the foundation for a healthier community by addressing physical health, mental well-being, and civic engagement. I want to be remembered as the leader who tackled health disparities, expanded access to healthcare and mental health services.

Beyond health, I want my time in office to be defined by transformational economic development and smart redevelopment that have changed the trajectory of District 4. Through strategic investments, I have helped attract new businesses, expanded workforce development programs, and championed infrastructure improvements that have revitalized my community. The redevelopment efforts in South Cobb have not only enhanced our quality of life but have also positioned the district for long-term economic growth and prosperity.

I have always believed that smart development should uplift communities, not displace them. That's why I have prioritized projects that bring new jobs, better transit options, expanded green spaces, and improved housing opportunities while preserving the character and culture of our neighborhoods. These efforts have transformed South Cobb from an underserved area to a community on the rise - one that is attracting investment, fostering innovation, and creating pathways to economic success.

Finally, I hope my legacy is one of trust, transparency, and community-driven leadership. I want residents to look back and say, "She didn't just hold office-she showed up, she listened, and she got things done. If I can leave my district healthier, more economically vibrant, and positioned for long-term success, then I will have fulfilled my purpose as Commissioner.
I worked at the Federal Drug Administration at the age of 15 as a summer job. I was employed for two months.

I firmly believe that transparency is the foundation of trust between government and the community. In Georgia, Sunshine Laws require openness in government, ensuring that the public has access to information about how decisions are made. But transparency isn't just a legal requirement - it's a commitment to the people we serve.

Financial transparency is key to accountability. In Cobb County, we maintain a balanced budget and ensure that every dollar spent is tracked and made publicly available. All spending is posted for public review, and residents have the opportunity to provide input at Board of Commissioners meetings. These processes create a system of checks and balances that hold elected officials accountable for responsible spending.

By being open and transparent, we build stronger relationships with the community. When residents trust that their tax dollars are being used wisely and that their voices are heard, they are more engaged, more informed, and more empowered. Government works best when it is accessible, honest, and accountable - and that is the standard I uphold in my leadership.
