Language on the ballot:
“ | Shall a levy be imposed by the Monroe Local School District, Counties of Butler and Warren, Ohio, for the purpose of providing for the emergency requirements of the school district in the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Three Thousand Five Hundred Eight Dollars ($2,503,508) and a levy of taxes to be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to average seven and five one-hundredths (7.05) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to seventy and five-tenths cents ($0.705) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013?[2][3] | ” |
