Montana Annual Legislative Meetings, C-20 (1988)

The Montana Annual Legislative Meetings Amendment, also known as C-20, was on the November 8, 1988 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have required the legislature to meet annually no more than 100 days in regular session during a two year period. The measure also provided that legislation relating to revenue or appropriations could only be considered in odd-numbered years and that legislation relating to other topics could only be considered in even-numbered years.[1][2]
