Montana Exceptions to Waiver Sovereign Immunity, C-2 (1974)

The Montana Exceptions to Waiver Sovereign Immunity Amendment, also known as C-2, was on the November 5, 1974 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided that the state, counties, cities, towns and all other municipalities have no immunity from suit for injury to a person or property except as provided by law by a two-thirds vote of each house of the legislature.[1][2]
