Montana Income Tax, Amendment 2 (1934)

The Montana Income Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 6, 1934 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided for the levy and collection of an income tax as well as the distribution of said tax to the public schools and state government.[1][2]
