The Montana Irrigation Ditches Amendment did not appear as an initiated constitutional amendment on the November 2, 2010 statewide ballot in Montana. The measure was not approved for circulation by the Montana Secretary of State. The initiative effort would have had to submit 48,673 signatures by the June 18, 2010 petition drive deadline. The measure's sponsor was Charles Denowh. The measure would have recognized irrigation ditches as distinct from natural waterways.[1]
