|
The Montana Legislative Poll for Vetoed Bills Amendment, also known as C-12, was on the November 2, 1982 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure permitted the secretary of state to conduct a poll by mail of all legislators when the legislature is not in session and the governor vetoes a bill rather than require legislators to come back into session. The measure also required a two-thirds majority vote to override a veto.[1][2]
