The Montana Levy for Hail Insurance Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 2, 1926 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have enacted a levy of taxes to insure growing crops against loss or damage by hail.[1][2]
