Montana Milk Price Decontrol, I-104 (1986)

The Montana Milk Price Decontrol Initiative, also known as I-104, was on the November 4, 1986 ballot in Montana as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have prohibited the state from regulating the wholesale, jobber and retail prices of milk. The measure also would have removed some power from the state to regulate the processing, storage, distribution and sale of milk.[1][2]
