Montana Mining Tax for Workmen's Compensation, I-28 (1924)

The Montana Mining Tax for Workmen's Compensation Initiative, also known as I-28, was on the November 4, 1924 ballot in Montana as an initiated state statute, where it was approved. The measure provided for workmen's protection and compensation, established an industrial accident board and provided for the creation and maintenance of certain funds through mining taxes.[1][2]
