The Montana Property Tax Limit Amendment did not appear as an initiated constitutional amendment on the November 2, 2010 statewide ballot in Montana.[1]
The measure was being supported by Kalispell, Montana resident John McMenamin, who tried to place a similar initiative in the previous year's ballot, but failed to do so by falling short of signatures needed.
McMenamin needed at least 48,674 signatures, or 10%, of registered Montana voters in 40 state House districts in order for the proposed constitutional amendment to be placed on the ballot.[2][3]
